Ingredients

Dry Ingredients
  • cups all-purpose flour 270g
  • ¼ cup sugar 50g
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 2 cups milk 480ml
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted(113g)
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Equipment

  • Waffle Maker

Method

  1. Preheat the waffle iron. You’ll want it very hot for crispy waffles.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients..
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry one and stir until both are combined. It’s okay to have a few lumps as that will help fluff up your waffles!
  5. Grease the waffle iron with cooking spray or butter. Ladle out just enough batter to coat the waffle iron.
  6. Cook until golden brown and crispy!

Notes

Toppings
For a light springy vibe add fresh berries and Nutella. Other choices could include: powdered sugar, syrup, or whipped cream. Or go with a savory version by adding spinach and cheese!
